Dolly’s Cabin

Dolly’s cabin was built in 1995. It was a log cabin made from logs we bought in Port Gibson, MS. It was completed a few days before the 1996 Summer Olympics. Dolly’s burned to the ground in the summer of 2000. The cause was never determined, but it was then that we decided that smoking would not be allowed in any Burge cabins. The second iteration was larger and much more efficient in the use of space as well as air conditioning.

Amenities:

Living / dining room, kitchen, large porch, four downstairs bedrooms, each with one queen bed and one single bed and private full bath. Loft with two single beds, but no bath. Well-behaved dogs permitted. (see pricing chart)
