Knothole Cabin

The first cabin at Burge. Originally, probably the late 1800’s, it was a tenant house. It had been abandoned for years when we took it over and fixed it up for family in the early 70’s. The first capital improvement of the club was building a screen porch on the back. It cost $1200 and was a big deal. Since then it has been expanded from one bedroom, bath and loft to two and now three bedrooms and three and ½ baths with much expanded living room added in 2008.

Amenities:

Living / dining room, kitchen, porch, three bedrooms downstairs, two with queen bed and single bed, one with king and each with full private bath, loft with one full bed, two single beds, and half bath. Well-behaved dogs permitted. (see pricing chart)
