Sadai’s Cottage

We built/moved to Burge on a whim in 2002. The old Montgomery house (circa 1830) on nearby Hwy 229 had burned with the exception of a room that had been attached to the house in 1840. We bought the “room,” the only part of the house that had not been destroyed, and moved it to Burge. We then added a sitting room, kitchen and bath to make it a usable and charming cabin.
